Welcome to the soiree!
This shall henceforth be the virtual home of Cassi, a twenty-something year old writer with a day job at a photo lab, a bad habit of writing about herself in the third person, and a slightly haunted house.
She no longer wears Mardi Gras beads or old lady sunglasses, but she does still look fairly stupid in photographs.
It probably goes without saying that she is not actually a captain, but she owns a hat and a coat, so what the hell.
Is this adequate information? Surely it is. Nobody actually reads these things.
...nipple.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’ve spent the past five or so years thinking that I didn’t like Ricky Gervais.
Anyone who mentioned him to me was met with a loud groan and some variation of the words “he’s not remotely funny and I can’t bloody stand him.”
I don’t even remember what it was that I saw him in that caused me to form this negative opinion, but a couple of weeks ago the batteries died in the remote control and as a result I watched the last 15 minutes of An Idiot Abroad while I ate dinner. During that fifteen minutes I realised that in fact he is pretty funny. Whats more, I didn’t want to throw things at the screen the whole time that he was on it.
I wondered if perhaps my judgement had been too swift.
Tonight, to test this theory, I sat down to watch the first episode of The Office and ended up watching the whole first season.
So, yeah. I take it back. I take it all back. Ricky Gervais, you are indeed the comedic genius that everybody kept telling me you were.
Now, on to season two…
